Verizon HP Mini 1151NR Notebook $199 Review

A couple of weeks ago we presented you the HP Mini 1151NR netbook which was really welcomed by the public. The HP Mini 1151NR went to Verizon Wireless and it is now available through the carrier’s website. I am sure that Verizon subscribers will be very pleased with the netbook especially thanks to its low price and good specs, however, the HP Mini Notebook will cost a lot of money if you consider the two-year commitment.

The HP Mini 1151NR features a 1.60GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB DDR2, 80GB HDD, CDMA 2000 1X EV-DO, CDMA 2000 1X EV-DO Rev. A, a 10.1″ LED display with a 1024×576 resolution, Bluetooth 2.0, two USB 2.0 ports, 802.11b/g WLAN, Ethernet RJ-45, webcam, VGA port, built-in mic, built-in stereo speakers, SD/MMC card reader, and it comes pre-installed with Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Those specs are enough for everybody. The HP Mini 1151NR comes packed with everything necessary for a netbook to do its job. Finding a WiFi spot could be hard, but thanks to the Verizon CDMA network, you will have access to the Internet anywhere, anytime.

The Intel Atom processor is perfect for netbooks, 1GB of RAM is enough for Windows XP to work, the display is not too big, and not too small, the 80GB of storage should be enough to store your emails, calendar, messages, and other documents, and I will repeat myself and say that this HP Mini mini-notebook has the full package of specs with the exception of ports as there are fewer ports and connections than in other netbooks.

What more can I say? If you like Verizon, and if you like netbooks then this is the perfect device for you. You can get it from here.
