Huawei Ascend P2 Mini Reportedly Coming At Mobile World Congress 2013
The Ascend P2 smartphone is expected to be launched by Huawei at this year’s Mobile World Congress. Until now, any information about the device has not been confirmed, some rumored specs and a leaked image is all there is to talk about. The latest rumor is about Huawei’s plan to release a second P2 handset. Word has it that the Chinese company will also announce an Ascend P2 Mini.
That’s right! Apart from the Ascend P2, Huawei will launch during MWC another device called Ascend P2 Mini. There is no images of the phone leaked yet, but it will probably look the same as the Ascend P2, but smaller. In the article you have the leaked photo of the Ascend P2. Look at it and imagine the same phone, only smaller in size.
There is no official specs for the Ascend P2 Mini, but the MyDrives site published some. Therefore, the smaller brother of the Ascend P2 will sport a 4.0-inch screen with a resolution of 720 pixels. It will also come with 1GB of RAM, and an 8MP rear camera. The operating system is not mentioned, but we expect it to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, just like the Ascend P2.
The “big brother” will come with a 4.7-inch display with a 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. Also, it will be powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU and will have a 2200 mAh battery. There is no rumor about what kind of processor will be sported on the Ascend P2 Mini, nor what battery size it will have. We will just have to wait for the MWC to see, although I have a feeling that more rumors will appear until then.
