Project Fiona Gaming Tablet With Windows 8 And i7 CPU Might Hit The Market

The ones who are aware of the gadgets announced at CES 2012 probably know about many of the interesting products that were demoed, but unfortunately never got past the prototype stage.

Porject Fiona, a Razer tablet developed especially for the gamers is one of them. The company that manufactures the tablet posted on its official Facebook page that if they receive 10,000 likes and shares over the next week, then Razer would bring the tablet to life.

Well, the Windows 8-powered device packing a Core i7 chipset has all the chances to hit the market, and it seems that Razer is actually accepting the fans’ suggestions for Fiona’s design, technical specifications, plus other features and accessories.

Razer’s official website includes a list of technical specifications of Project Fiona: an Intel Core i7 processor, and a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels, accelerometer and a 3-axis gyro.

Razer Project Fiona also packs force feedback and Dolby 7.1 support, Bluetooth 3.0 and those gamepads for gaming.

Early 2012 Razer promised a price around $1,000 for this model, but we will have to wait and see whether they will keep the promise, considering its hardware specifications. Would you be in for a tablet like this? You can watch it in action in the video below:
