Nexus 7 With 32 GB Of Storage Might Be Released Soon

Rumor has it that the popular Google Nexus 7 tablet will be soon available with 32 GB of internal storage, developed for the customers that complained that 8 or 16 GB of storage wouldn’t be enough to fit their needs.

Google’s decision to create a Nexus 7 model with 32 GB of internal memory comes as a response to the ones unhappy for the low storage capacity of the tablets, combined with the absence of expanding it via microSD card. Even though the price will be raised a bit, I am sure that a lot of customers will purchase the 32 GB Nexus 7 model.

Even though Google hasn’t confirmed the rumors yet, at least two online retailers have listed the Nexus 7 32 GB model at prices of $269 and $272, respectively. Since the 8 and 16 GB versions are available for $200 and $250, my guess is that the price will be between $275 and $300.

Some other rumors are suggesting that the Mountain View giant and ASUS are also working on a Nexus 7 with 3G connectivity, for the customers who travel a lot and there are no WiFi hotspots nearby.

The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and is powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Nexus 7 also comes with 1 GB of RAM, a front-facing 1.2 megapixel camera with HD video recording support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and microUSB. The gadget co-developed by Google and ASUS boasts a 7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display with HD resolution.

The main rival for Nexus 7 is Amazon Kindle Fire HD, a 7-inch inch slate with dual-core CPU and a price of $199.
