Motorola RAZR HD And Droid RAZR Maxx HD Launched, Sport Snapdragon S4 CPU And LTE Support

Yesterday, Motorola had a launching event. The company released the new RAZR HD which seems a very interesting smartphone with great features.

First of all, Motorola brags about the new battery that powers the RAZR HD. They say that with only one charge, the users will be able to view YouTube videos for up to 7 hours or listen music for 20 hours straight. Also, the device allows you to browse the internet at 4G speeds for 6 hours and chat on social networks for up to 16 hours. This is pretty impressive if considering that it has a 4.7-inch which certainly eats a lot of resources. Not to mention that the phone is quite slim, thus the battery itself is not very massive.

So, the Motorola RAZR HD runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich which can be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean. It sports a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD screen and a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. Also, it has an 8MP camera that features  8x Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, and LED Flash. The device is able to play a lot of audio files such as AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced, AMR NB, AMR WB, MIDI, MP3, WAV, WMA v10, WMA v9. All these features are supported by a 2530mAh battery.

Another device released yesterday by Motorola is the DROID RAZR MAXX HD.

This one has pretty much the same specs as the previous, but with some minor differences. The DROID RAZR MAXX HD has the same 4.7-inch display and the same operating systems which, again, can be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean. It has a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space (unfortunately, the you can use only 26GB) which can be expanded with an optional microSD card. The battery of the DROID RAZR MAXX HD is larger than the one o f the RAZR HD, of 3300mAh.

The phone has the power to play several video formats such as 1080p HD Video, MPEG4, H.263, H.264, VC-1, VP8, Real Video, and can capture video as 1080p HD Video, MPEG4, and H.264. The smartphone comes with two other accessories meaning a Vehicle Navigation Dock and a Flip Stand with Smart Charger.
