HTC Accord Leaked, Comes With Windows Phone 8 And 4.3-inch HD Display

We are one step closer to the launch of the first wave of smartphones running on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 and Samsung already introduced one such device, the ATIV S.

Nokia will probably the next to come, on September 5, where the first WP8-powered Lumia terminals will reportedly see the light of day, but it seems that HTC is also planning a special release. That “something” seems to include the HTC Accord, the Windows Phone 8 model pictured above and leaked by Twitter by @Football4PDA.

At the last check in, HTC was working on three new Windows Phone 8 terminals, Rio, Accord and Zenith, but, until now no details about them surfaced.

It seems though that HTC Accord made it on XDA Developers formus and the image above has been found in a HTC ROM that contained a rendering of the device. You can easily see for yourself that the model actually runs on Windows Phone 7, and it HTC Accord will also be available in pimpy purple, with dual-core 1.5 GHz MSM8960 Snapdragon, the same fitted inside the US variant of Samsung Galaxy S3.

Moreover, the terminal also sports a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display with HD resolution, an 8 megapixel camera with Full HD video recording capabilities, microSD card slot, NFC, and, probably, LTE.

IFA Berlin 2012 trade show is far from being over, thus HTC might actually officially present this smartphone, along with Zenith and Rio over the next couple of days. If had to choose now, what would it be, Samsung ATIV S or this HTC Accord?
