Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus Picture And Unofficial Specs Leaked

A mobile operator based in Chile have posted on their official website what it seems to be the picture of Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus. The alleged Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus looks a lot like the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 variant, codenamed T989.

Moreover, even the technical specifications, even though unofficial, of the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus are a reminiscent of the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2.

The source reports that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus will come with a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The Chilean website also writes that the Galaxy S2 plus sports a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz (most likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon Scorpion that is currently installed on the T-Mobile Galaxy S2), 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot (up to 32 GB supported).

The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and an 8 megapixel camera with full HD video recording support.

There are voices saying that the smartphone we are talking about might be the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 variant for the international market. The 4.53-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 800 x 480 pixels is currently used exclusively by the T989 variant of the popular smartphone.

Now all we can do is wait for some official infos coming from the South Korea-based company. The design, as a whole, reminds of the highly appreciated Samsung Galaxy S3, while the texture of the back cover reminds of the Samsung flagship smartphone unveiled in 2011.
