ZTE Flash To Arrive At Sprint With HD 4.5-inch Display And Snapdragon S4 CPU

ZTE, the China-based phone maker, acknowledged an important growth both on the smartphone and feature phone market, and the IDC statistics revealed that the company entered in top five world wide smartphone and phone vendors.

ZTE sold millions of low end smartphones on the Chinese market, but the company is aiming high, willing to penetrate the European and North American markets with ZTE Era and now with the new ZTE Flash, a terminal that will soon debut in The US.

ZTE Flash features a 4.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, and is underpinned by a Snapdragon S4 Krait chipset manufactured by Qualcomm and based on two ARM Cortex A9 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. ZTE Flash also sports Adreno 225 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash storage expandable via microSD card up to 32 GB.

The new smartphone leaves the factory gates with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board and it has support for LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC chip. The Android-powered high-end smartphone comes with a 12.6 megapixel primary camera with autofocus and full HD video recording, while the user-facing 1 megapxiel camera sports BSI. All these interesting features are kept alive by a 1,780 mAh battery.

It seems that ZTE Flash will hit Sprint’s stores on October 14th, and I am sure that the Europeans would warmly welcome the device, as well.

The Chinese smartphone stands out with its Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor which was highly appreciated in the reviews and with its 12 megapixel camera.
