Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update For AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Rolls Out Today

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the international version of Samsung Galaxy Note rolled out a couple of months and the users that bought their phablets via AT&T’s retail chain are still waiting for the official update.

Here we are, two months after Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich debuted on the global Galaxy Note, with good news for the owners of the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note: the Android 4.0 ICS firmware update rolled out today. As you probably know, along with the standard features of Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung crowded the update with their Premium Suite, a package that contains a series of applications compatible with Note’s S-Pen.

S-Note is one of the applications inside Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite update for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note, an improved version of the old app, which now allows the user to mix drawings and pictures, handwriting and typed letters, resulting in more complex notes. S-Note also comes with a couple of templates you can use for your shopping list, diary and many other. The Shape Match and Formula Match are two of S-Note’s new features, correcting the geometrical shapes and solving equations and other math formulas you draw with your S-Pen.

Premium Suite for Samsung Galaxy Note also contains My Story, an S-Pen optimized application which allows you to create customized digital cars. You can include notes, videos, all sort of media content, voice and many other goodies.

Besides all these, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy Note brings face unlock, Android Beam, better user interface, a more efficient multitasking and improved system speed and stability.

The international version of Samsung Galaxy Note was introduced at IFA Berlin and was made available for purchase in October 2012. The Samsung phablet hit the US market via AT&T in February 2012 and it comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S3 CPU, 1 GB of RAM and a huge 5.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note also packs WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth and an 8 megapixel camera with full HD video recording capabilities.
