The new Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone is enjoying a huge success on the all the markets where it was made available for purchase. According to Reuters, JK Shin, the chief of Samsung mobile division, said that the South Korean company estimates that over 10 million Samsung Galaxy S3 units will be sold by the end of  July.

The launch of emblematic Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone will be one of the most important launches in the history of the Seoul-based company. JK Shin said for Reuters that Samsung expects to register a record sales number of over 10 million units by the end of July.

We don’t know yet whether the Samsung chief talks about the number of Samsung Galaxy S3 shipped or sold units, but either way, this is an impressive performance for the phone maker.

Samsung is currently world’s biggest smartphone vendor and its best-selling products are the Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 flagship smartphones, with over 50 million devices sold so far. The first generation of the terminal was sold in 24 million copies, and Samsung Galaxy S2 was acquired by 28 million users.

A lot of buzz was created around the launch of Samsung Galaxy S3 and when it was officially introduced on May 3rd, the most of the media and smartphone enthusiasts were impressed by the new Samsung flagship smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, protected by Gorilla Glass coating, 8 megapixel primary camera with autofocus, LED flash and support for full HD video recording, 16/32/64 GB of internal storage expandable courtesy of microSD card slot and 50 GB of free Dropbox storage for two years. The device is underpinned by an 4212 Quad chipset based on four Cortex A9 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz and has a 2,100 mAh battery that should get it through 11 h 40 min of talk time (3G).

The Samsung flagship comes pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and lots of goodies meant to improve the user experience. It sports pretty cool features like Best Photo (takes 20 pictures in burst mode and chooses the best one), Smart Stay (doesn’t dim the display as long as you are looking at it), Smart Alert (vibrates when you have unread notifications), Pop up Play (allows you to play a winodowed video on any of the phone’s screens), S-Voice (Samsung’s response to Siri), S-Beam (fast file transfer via NFC using DLNA and WiFi Direct), and many other interesting such treats.
