BlackBerry 10 OS-Powered Developer Smartphone Spotted

The developers are so lucky sometimes… just think at the guys that got their hands on that sliding keyboard Nokia N9, nicknamed N950. Well, now the pictures of a RIM device developed for software creators have hit the web, and its powered by the Canadian company’s BlackBerry 10 platform.

It looks like the terminal is a Developer Alpha tool, which will be given to the experts that will attend the BlackBerry Jam conference scheduled for next week in Orlando. Don’t expect this model to ever hit the store shelves, but only to be used for testing BlackBerry 10 applications, ahead of the debut of the new OS, a few months from now. The pictures you can see in the gallery below were posted on Cracknerry forum by one of its members (TRIPPIN). Besides BlackBerry Jam, there’s the BlackBerry World event, where new interesting details about new BB terminals and new OS will be unveiled.

BlackBerry Jam conference is dedicated to RIM developers. BB Jam lasts for three days and there will be 80 training sessions, workshps, demos, analysis and tutorials regarding the app development for BB 10 OS. The new RIM CEO, Thorsten Heins will attend the conference himself, and the developers will receive free “developer phones.”

Maybe the new BlackBerry Playbook tablet will also be unveiled at the upcoming RIM event in Orlando. Anyway, the Jam conference is only a few days away, thus it would be wiser to wait to see what happens there before jumping into conclusion. Until then you should check the leaked photos of the BB 10 OS-powered developer phone.
