Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite For Samsung Galaxy Note Demoed

Samsung Galaxy Note, a device larger than a regular phone, but to small to be a tablet. That’s why some many people call it a phablet. Honestly, I’m not very fond of Samsung’s device, but many people seem to enjoy it and that’s what matters, after all. And if you take a moment and examine it, it can be a really great device and fun to use it too.

Samsung Galaxy Note is still running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as you might probably know. However, after it released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy S 2, the South Korean company is preparing to launch it for Samsung Galaxy Note as well.  I know it took a little longer, but Samsung needed a bit more time to get its new premium suite apps ready. The good news is that the waiting will soon come to an end.

Unlike the last Ice Cream Sandwich leak, this one came with a video that allows us to take a peek at the new applications included in the ICS developed for Samsung Galaxy Note, all this thanks to Samsung Mobile that posted the video on YouTube. As I remember, this is not the first leaked video. Another one appeared back in March, but it was a little different than this one and which also has been made private by Samsung Mobile.

Nevertheless, this video gives us all the details about how the Samsung Galaxy Note will work running Android 4.0 ICS. The video features mainly the functions that come along with the premium apps suite, but also the fact that Samsung is “the exclusive mobile launch partner of Angry Birds Space”. The background music is nice too.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note ICS was leaked earlier this month, but unfortunately unlike the video I’ve talked about, it did not include the premium suite apps. However, if we consider the rest of the update, the official release of the Samsung Galaxy Note running Android 4.0 ICS should be really awesome. Among the new features it’s worth mention the ability to upload and edit PDF files, create detailed graphics and circles using the automated tools and many more. All these features are great additions to the Galaxy Note. And don’t forget, all the functions will be compatible with the device’s S-pen.

Despite the fact that Samsung did not make any official statement regarding the actual release date yet, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich along with the premium suite is expected to arrive in Q2, according to the latest report from the company. We are pretty confident about this and adding the fact that Samsung just released the teaser video makes us believe that the much awaited update will be coming soon as everybody is very excited about the S-pen applications.
