Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Release Date Still Unknown

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Release Date Still Unknown

The Galaxy Tab 2 future customers can be happy as the prices and release date were finally revealed. However, Samsung did come with a surprise at the Mobile World Congress that so far has been kept in the shadows . The Galaxy Note 10.1 is the device that Samsung proudly revealed in Barcelona, but the company hasn’t spoken about until today’s press event. A Samsung spokesman said that the company did not set a release date foe the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Plus, the device that everybody saw in Barcelona might not even be the exact same thing as the one shipping in the stores.

The spokesman also said that Samsung wanted to make a splash at the conference and that’s why itĀ unveiled the device, to get the people’s interest. The device showed at the MWC sported a 1.4GHz dual-core Exynos SoC, 10.1-inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a pixel density of about 149ppi, and 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD 1080p video recording capabilities, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 that is about to be released in the near future might feature totally different specs. Samsung will probably make some changes because if it doesn’t it will be very much alike the Galaxy Tab 2 and if that happens, what’s the point of releasing a new tablet when you already launched a similar one. Galaxy Note 10.1 has 16/32/64 GB of internal flash storage that can be extended with up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will surely come with an S-pen and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. Like Samsung promised, the ICS version for their Note line-up will be customized to provide an improved experience for the S-Pen: S-Pen specific applications and gestures. Anyway, we hope that Samsung won’t keep us waiting for to long and launch the bigger brother of the Galaxy Note phablet sometime in Q3 2012.
