Galaxy Nexus 16GB And HTC Droid Incredible 4G Release Dates Are April 5th and April 26th, Respectively

Galaxy Nexus is the successor of Google’s developer smartphone, Google Nexus S, and it was introduced on October 19th, 2011 at Samsung + Google Unwrapping Ice Cream Sandwich event in Hong Kong. Galaxy Nexus is world’s first smartphone to come pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and since it was first showcased at the aforementioned event, most of the Android enthusiasts want to get their hands on it.

Reports show that the Galaxy Nexus is heading to Verizon on April 5th and since the manufacturers have cut the production of the 32GB model we expect the Android 4.0 ICS-powered device to be available at a price of $199 on two-year contract.

Galaxy Nexus features a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display (720 x 1280 pixels), protected against scratches by a Gorilla Glass layer, dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 TI OMAP 4660 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal flash storage and 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus and 1080p video recording capabilities. The smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC chip. Unfortunately the microSD card slot is missing, but we strongly believe that 16GB of storage would be enough to fit your needs.

While the Europeans were able to acquire the Galaxy Nexus starting November 17th, the world’s first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone only made its debut on the US market on December 15th. If you were patient enough, starting April 5th you would be able to acquire the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon at a lower price.

The same source says that the HTC Droid Incredible 3 4G  would hit the Verizon stores, as well. Droid Incredible 3 4G will be available starting April 26th. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered device is rumored to feature a 1.2GHz processor member of the dual-core tribe, 1GB of RAM, Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel primary camera (likely to have full HD video recording support) and, as you probably guessed already, support for 4G LTE.

It looks like that LG Lucid (formerly known as LG Cayman) would also debut at Verizon along with the two aforementioned devices. LG Lucid is set to debut at the US carrier on March 29th and it also features 4G LTE support.
