How To Select Proper Boot Device In BIOS When Re-Installing Windows

If you use Windows operation system and if you want to re-install the software, you must to change the boot drive, because you will be not able to access the inserted CD or DVD. Here are the steps for How To Select Proper Boot Device In BIOS When Re-Installing Windows:

  1. First, you must to restart your computer.

  2. Now, to enter in BIOS, you must to press the Esc button or the Delete button repeatedly.

  3. Now, with the arrow keys, you must to go to the Boot tab.

  4. On the first section, on Boot Device Priority you must to press Enter button.

  5. Here, you will be able to select your first booting driver.

  6. With the + and – buttons you will be able to select the primary boot device. If you use a CD or a DVD, you must to select the CDROM or DVDROM as 1st Boot Device.

  7. Finally you must to press the F10 button to save the changes and exit from BIOS(you can also go to the Exit tab and select the Exit saving changes option). Your computer will restart and your CD or your DVD will correctly boot the operation system to re-install it.
