How To Insert Ads Into A WordPress Post

If you use WordPress, you may know that you can insert ads in every post. There are two ways to insert ads in your WordPress posts: manually by pasting the ad code in your article, and the second way is to use a WordPress plug-in. The simplest way is to use a plug-in, but if you wnat to know how to insert ads, read the following article and learn the both ways.

Here are the steps for How To Manually Insert Ads In WordPress Posts:

  1. First you must to access your advertisement management system and you must to retrieve the JavaScrip code or the HTML code to display your ad(if you use Google Adsense, you must to log in to your Adsense account to copy the ad code).

  2. Now you must to paste the ad code in a Notepad file (save it on the desktop as “All Files” instead of the default “TXT” format and name it:”Ad.php.”).

  3. Now you must to access your web site file manager. Press on the “Wp-Content” folder from your server and then click on “Themes”.

  4. You must to click on the WordPress theme that you using.

  5. Here you be able to upload th “Ad.php” file. Then you must to save the changes.

  6. Now you must to log in to your WordPress administration page and click on the “Edit” button to bring the theme editor. Now you will see a list with template files and here you must to see your upload “Ad.php” file.

  7. You must to click on the “Single.php” template file.

  8. And now you must to enter the following code, where you want to see your add in the post template: <?php include (templatepth .’/ad.php’); ?>

  9. And finally you must to press the “Update” button. To see your ad, visit your web site.

Here are the steps for How To Insert Ads In WordPress Posts By Using a Plug-In:

  1. First you must to log in to your WordPress administration page and you must to press the “Add New”, from “Plug-In” section.

  2. Now you must to search for “Smart Ads” plug-in and then click on the “Install” button and press “OK”.

  3. After you have installed the “Smart Ads” plug-in, under the “Setting” bar you must to press on it.

  4. Finally you must to paste your ad code in one of the ad boxes. You can also insert the ad code in the “Custom” box.(type”[smartads]” inside the post editor where you want the ad to appear when adding the code to the custom box). Press the “Save” button.
