How To Turn On Windows 98 / 2000 / XP / Vista Computers In Safe Mode

Here are the steps for How To Turn On Windows 98 and Windows 2000 Computers In Safe Mode:

  1. First you must to restart your computer. If you can’t restart it, turn off bu holding down the power button, and after 30 seconds turn on your computer.

  2. If you are using Windows 98, you must to press the “Ctrl” from your keyboard and hold it until appears the startup menu. If you using Windows 2000, you must to¬†repeatedly¬†press the F8 button until the Starting Windows bar will appear.( will appear the Windows 2000 Advanced Options menu).

  3. Finally, from the startup menu, you must to select Safe Mode and then you must to press Enter. Now, your computer will start in Safe Mode.

Here are the steps for How To Turn On Windows XP and Windows Vista Computers In Safe Mode:

  1. First, you must to turn off your computer.

  2. Now, you must search for Basic Input/Output system to display on the screen when your computer starts.

  3. You must to press repeatedly on the F8 button, until BIOS has finished loading.

  4. You must to continue to press F8 button until the Advanced Options menu will appear.

  5. After that you must to restart your computer and make again this process.

  6. And finally select the Safe Mode option from Advanced Options and then press Enter. Now, your computer will start in Safe Mode.
