How To Turn “On” WiFi In Windows Vista

This great operating system offered by Microsoft, Windows Vista offer users the possibility to connect to a network using either a cable or a wireless connection ( adapter ). Keep in mind that the wireless adapter is installed and available for default, but if someone disabled the adapter you won’t have the possibility to see or connect to wireless networks.

The great news is that by using the Network and Sharing Center menu within Windows, you will discover that it’s very easy to set up your wireless options and preferences. Turning on your computer’s Wi-Fi involves just a few seconds:

  1. Click Start button and then go to Control Panel.

  2. In the Control Panel window go into the Network and Internet.

  3. In the next screen click the Network and Sharing Center feature.

  4. On the left side, you will find the Manage network connections link, click on it.

  5. Right-click the Wireless Network Connection and click Enable.
