How To Crop Photos / Images In Microsoft Paint

If you use Windows 7 operating system, you have a simply program that allows you to edit your pictures. Microsoft Paint is a image editor that allows you to drawn pictures, to add text, to change the picture orientation, to crop and also to change the picture pixels. A very important feature is the crop option, that allows you to save only a selected area from a picture.

  1. First you must to right-click on your picture that you want to crop and then you must to select the “Open With” button > “Paint”.

  2. Now you must to press the arrow below the “Select” button in the Home tab Image group. And now, choose under Selection Shapes the selection shape that you want to use.

  3. Now simply hold the left click of your mouse and drag the cursor to select the area that you want to crop. When you finish, release the button.

  4. To crop your image, you must to click “Crop” button from the Image Group.

  5. Finally, to save the picture, you must to press “Ctrl” + “S” buttons. Here you must choose a picture name and the location where you want to save the picture in the “Save As” box. Press the “Save” button to save your cropped picture.
