How Do I Restore Erased Files?

What do you do when you accidentally deleted your files? You probably know that when a file is deleted, it stays on the hard disk but it’s moved to the Recycle Bin. This operation helps you to browse in the content of the Recycle Bin and to restore an erased file. If you cleared the Recycle Bin you can save the file but in order to do that you will need a third-party tool.

If you are interested of how to restore erased files here are 4 easy steps to this problem:

  1. Find on your desktop the icon that looks like a trash can, it’s probably located in the lower left-hand corner of your desktop screen is labeled “Recycle Bin.”

  2. Now that you found it click and open it. Watch the list of deleted files that you can restore. Click on the column headers so you can see the list of deleted files.

  3. Find the files that you need to restore. Now hold down the “Ctrl” key and select the files you need to restore.

  4. “File – Restore” is what you need to click so the files that was deleted now are available in the same location that you deleted them from.
