How To Manually Download And Install Android 2.2 Froyo On Motorola Milestone

How to manually download and install Android 2.2 Froyo on Motorola Milestone:

  1. Download Motorola Software Updater at this link here;

  2. Run the .exe file and install the MSU;

  3. Connect your Motorola Milestone to your PC;

  4. Hit the update button;

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Please remember to backup first because something might go wrong. Ensure that your phone’s battery is fully charged and do not disconnect the phone from the computer until after the upgrade process is completed.

Many Motorola Milestone users have encountered an issues with Gmail and Google services Auto-sync after upgrading so let’s see how you can re-enable Gmail auto-sync after Android 2.2 Froyo upgrade:

  1. Go to your Homescreen;

  2. Press the homecreen until a menu pops-up;
