For those that successfully followed our guide to jailbreak the iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.1, while preserving the baseband, unlocking is a miracle at hand. Please note that this procedure only works for those that preserved their basebands during the jailbreaking, using TinyUmbrella.   1. Start “Cydia”.

  2. Tap on the “Manage” tab ( bottom of the screen ) and then on “Sources”.

  3. Select “Edit” and then tap on “Add”. Enter this URL: and then click on “Add Source” and then on “Return”.

  4. Once the installation completes, open Cydia and search for “Ultrasn0w.” Install it.

  5. The application will automatically unlock the iPhone 4.

  6. Reboot the device.
