How to Share Links Between Any Browser and Any Smartphone Using Site to Phone

If you are an Android user then it`s no doubt that you are familiar with the functionality of “webOS`Neato” or “Google`s Chrome to phone”, but what about those who have a Blackberry, iPhone or Windows Phone 7 device, could they really enjoy the functionality of sharing links between any browser and any smartphone with just a single click? Well, if you are one of those users then “site to phone” it`s just what you are looking for.  This software has the ability to support any kind of mobile smartphone OS and of course any kind of major web browser.

To setup your phone you need to follow these steps:

1.       Go to sitetophone.com on your laptop and click on “setup with your phone” button.

2.       Go to that generated unique browser link on your phone’s browser. (Warning: Do not show your unique link to somebody else because he may be able to see what links have you sent on your phone).

3.       Follow the instructions on the page for your device in order to add the bookmark as a shortcut on your app launcher. (In these photos you can see the setup process on a webOS device)

4.       Once you have done that you have to tap complete setup and go back to your laptop to set up your browser.

Setup your browser:

Taking this next step isn`t absolutely necessary but it could be very helpful. If you don`t want to install an addon on your device, you can easily go to -Site to phone- website and use the quick send feature to send links to your phone.

But, if you are a smart guy and you want to make your like easier then I strongly recommend you to click on your browser icon to see the instructions on how to install a plugin or bookmarklet.

If you want to use the bookmarklet or the extension you have to create an account.

After you have set up your account and logged into the site the only thing you have to do is to go to your favorite website and either click the icon in your menu bar or simply right click and select “send page to phone”.

Open links and View History:

From the moment you`ve sent a site to your phone all you need to do is to go to the bookmark you`ve just created earlier.

If you want to see your link history the -Site to phone- feature can be opened either from your device or your laptop browser by clicking on “your links”, which can be found at the top of the screen.
