How to Overclock the Motorola Droid 2 ( 1.3 GHz )

How to Overclock the Motorola Droid 2 ( 1.3 GHz )

In the following guide you will learn how to get the most of your Motorola Droid 2, by overclocking it. This overclock tutorial is possible thanks to the guys from XDA-Developers, and it upgrades your processor to a nice 1.3 GHZ, adding 300 MHz. It’s not much, but it makes the difference when you are heating up the phone with various apps. The procedure will be easy to make, and only requires a few steps.

Before overclocking the Motorola Droid 2, you must root it. If you are already rooted, proceed. Next, you must have the adb drivers installed and to know how to start the adb terminal. That’s about it.

A small warning first: the developer who managed to create this overclocking procedure has settled a safety line to 1.3 GHz. Cross it on your own risk.
