How To Add FaceBook Chat Emoticons and Smileys

23.09.2009

FaceBook is the most popular social networking website in the world and one of its features is called FaceBook Chat which allows you to chat with your friends all over the world. One of the things that is wrong with the FaceBook Chat is that it doesn’t feature emoticons, but the good thing is that you can solve this problem. All you need is a FaceBook account, Greasemonkey script, and the FaceBook Chatbar+ script, and you ready to go.

FaceBook Chat emoticons can be very helpful, and most of instant messaging services like Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and AIM already have it. It is known that FaceBook supports emoticons, but the problem is that they are hidden and you have to know the commands to send them.

Like aforementioned, if you want FaceBook Chat emoticons and smileys, then install Mozilla Firefox, then Greasemonkey script here, and Facebook Chatbar+ here. After you’ve done that launch a Firefox instance, log into FaceBook, and open the FaceBook Chat, and you’re done!
